About the pieceThis piece is a tribute to the much-beloved Lutkin, "Benediction," which is an anthem near and dear to the heart of the Westminster Choir College community. A New Benediction, was selected as the Graduating Class anthem in 2009 and was performed at the 80th Commencement of Westminster Choir College. The text is set simply and is followed by a more elaborate 8-fold 'amen.'
